_____Selphie & Squall
These two could make it together. They are total opposites; Selphie being hyperactive and Squall being
antisocial. People say opposites attract. So this is a likely couple, yes? However, Squall gives Selphie 'scientific'
reasons as to why her heart is beating so fast on the train. They are both leaders, since Selphie led the Missile
Base team inside the base and got them out safely. Squall is always there to interrupt Irvine's "moves" as well.
What do you think about that? Coincidence? He could have done it on purpose.

Throughout the game, Selphie teases Squall, but she does this to Zell more than she does the Commander.
Selphie acts like a ditz a lot, and Zell is always there to have a say about it. If Selphie is taken into Zell's room
when you first get a chance to go in there, she feels more than welcome to help herself to a seat on his bed.
Even though Zell yelled at her, I think it was mostly out of nervousness because a girl was sitting on his bed...
and it was Selphie.

Ahhh... the 'meant to be' relationship with Irvine. Yeah, Irvine liked Selphie since they were kids and Selphie
liked him too, but she never said it like it was love. In my opinion, Irvine is just obsessing with Selphie since
he had liked her since childhood. There are a couple of moments where Selphie is somewhat caught up in the
moment by this 'Ladies Man' but it's always interrupted and the moment is gone with the wind. Most of the
time, Selphie ignores him. I'm not sure if she does it on purpose or not, but it does happen. Irvine stalks her
too. Always watching her while she works at the student panel in Quistis' classroom, but again, she doesn't
notice.
_____Selphie & Seifer
Now there's a match made in heaven. ...Yeah right. Even though Selphie encouraged Seifer to do better on
his next field exam, there really isn't anything there for her to like. He calls everyone names, a very rude thing
to do. His nickname for Selphie was 'Messenger Girl,' which she managed to acquire when the two first met.
She doesn't seem to be the kind of girl who would fall for the 'bad guy' and Seifer doesn't seem to be one
who would fall for such an innocent girl. However, I have read wonderful fan fiction of these two falling for
each other that just made everything fit. In one story, Selphie is kind enough to watch out for the lap dog
and Seifer gets into so much trouble that he ends up being forced to work on a committee at Garden, which
just so happened to be the Garden Festival. This, in turn, means he spends a lot of time with her and gets to
know her better. Who couldn't fall in love with such a hippie? That was a very nice idea and I am ever so
happy to use it as an example. Selphie and Seifer are total opposites as well, but Seifer has a harder shell than
Squall, so it's not too likely that the two would be a couple.
_____Selphie & Sir Laguna
Even though Selphie thinks Laguna is a total 'hunk' and likes to call him 'Sir Laguna,' the age difference kinda
gets to me. They would be adorable together; Sir Laguna with his shyness and Selphie with her spunky
ways. Heh, I can see it, but I don't think it should be. Selphie looks up to Sir Laguna and his traveling and
writings. Sir Laguna is still hurt by the loss of Raine, the love of his life, so I don't think that he would be
willing to get into a relationship, much less, one with Selphie.
_____Selphie & Raijin
First off, they would NOT be a good couple whatsoever. Selphie may be annoying, but no where near how
much Raijin is and his 'ya know !?' disability that he has to say after every single sentence that comes out of
his mouth. Raijin is sort of soft, only because Fujin beats him up all the time, but there's not really much there
that could catch Selphie's eye.
_____Selphie & Nida
Nida is such a nice and polite guy. Whenever the group talks to him, he always speaks clearly and as if they
have been buddies for a long while. Other than being good buddies, Selphie and Nida... they don't really
have any other type of relationship.
_____Selphie & Headmaster Cid
For one, he's too old. Two, he's like a father to her. And three, he's married! He'd be such a little pervert if he
did anything with Selphie and I would disown the girl if I come to find out that something ever did happen.

They are too old. The two of them are more like uncles to everyone than anything else. Really. Nothing there.

Just... nasty. Who could even think about dating one of their closest friends' father?! And anyway, Selphie
